Allerton Park & Retreat Center to hold Gingerbread Jog 5K

MONTICELLO, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Allerton Park & Retreat Center is holding a special 5K run with a holiday twist later this month!

The Gingerbread Jog presented by the Sangamon Valley CEO Class of 2026, which will be held on Old Timber Road in Monticello on December 20. Sign up to see if you can beat the Gingerbread Man on foot!

Partnered with Kirby Medical Center, First State Bank & Trust, and Kappes Oil & Mineral Co., the Gingerbread Jog 5K will feature youth runs, photo ops, and youth awards.

  • 10:00 AM Awards + Photo op
