CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — While Chambana Today has been covering local crime stories since its earliest days as a news source for the community, our newsroom has recognized a lack of coverage for crime occurring on campus. Whether you’re a parent trying to stay in the now about your child’s campus or a student on campus wondering what the campus police is up to, we’re here to have you covered.

As a warning, this week’s crime log may include sensitive language.

With that, we’re kicking off a weekly look at on-campus crime from the last week, with data provided by the University of Illinois Police Department. Crimes are organized based on the time they were reported, with incidents from before the reported date specified.
