Champaign Public Works continuing yard waste collection through this week

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Champaign’s Public Works department has been working throughout its Orange and Blue Zones to pick up collected yard waste. Due to forecasted snowfall this coming Thursday, Orange Zones 4 and 5 will be postponed until snow and ice activities are complete.

Orange Zones 1, 2, and 3 are complete, as are Blue Zones 2, 3, 4, and 5. Blue Zone 1 will be complete on Thursday, December 11.

To find your collection zone, visit champaignil.gov/yardwaste, click on the yard waste collection map and enter your address. Collection is available to all residential properties within city limits.

Channel 5. Residents are also encouraged to sign up for automatic e-mail notification of this and
all future yard waste collections at the City’s website champaignil.gov/newsletter.
