City to host community meeting on Kenwood and Holiday Park revitalization plan

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — The City of Champaign Neighborhood Services Department will host a community meeting Wednesday to provide updates on housing initiatives and the Community Revitalization Plan for the Kenwood and Holiday Park neighborhoods.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 to 7 p.m. March 4 at the Leonhard Recreation Center, 2307 Sangamon Drive.

City officials and Champaign City Council members are expected to attend. Representatives will share information about housing updates and efforts in partnership with the Illinois Housing Development Authority.

Residents will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide input on revitalization efforts in the area near Centennial and County Fair.

The event is city-sponsored and open to the public.
