CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — Dylan Blaha, Democratic candidate for Illinois’ 13th Congressional District, will host an Election Day party on Tuesday evening at Jupiter’s at the Crossing in Champaign. The event, which will begin at 6:00 p.m. CDT, will offer complimentary food and soft drinks for supporters while they await the results of Blaha’s campaign to unseat incumbent Representative Nikki Budzinski.

Blaha, an Army veteran and National Guard captain, will address attendees after polls close across Illinois.

The campaign has emphasized Blaha’s grassroots approach, which has drawn endorsements from 50501, Abundant Housing Illinois, and Progressive Democrats of America, among other progressive and anti-corruption organizations. Supporters are expected to view the event as a celebration of community engagement and a chance to rally behind Blaha’s platform.

The party will run from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
