URBANA, Ill. (Chambana Today) — The Urbana Firefighters Local 1147 are revving up for a family-friendly Halloween celebration with their annual Trunk-or-Treat Vehicle Show, set for Sunday, October 26, in the Lincoln Square Mall parking lot.

The event runs rain or shine from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering a safe and festive space for children to trick-or-treat while exploring antique fire engines, classic cars, tractors, and other eye-catching vehicles. The fun also includes a vehicle contest, with registration from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and awards presented at 1 p.m.

Hosted by Urbana Firefighters Local 1147, the event raises funds for the Local 1147 Charity Fund, which supports community causes throughout the year. Organizers encourage vehicle participants to bring plenty of candy to share and suggest a donation in place of a registration fee.
