CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Two long-standing local traditions are coming together once again as Illini Media Group and the Junior League of Champaign-Urbana prepare to host the 3rd Annual Holiday Market and 30th Annual Festival of Trees. The event will take place Saturday, Nov. 22, at the I Hotel and Illinois Conference Center, offering a festive kickoff to the holiday season.

The one-day celebration is designed to bring families, shoppers, and community members together for a unique holiday experience. More than 50 local vendors will participate in the Holiday Market, featuring handmade crafts, artisan goods, gourmet treats, and gift ideas for all ages.

The Festival of Trees, a cherished community tradition, will showcase elaborately decorated trees and wreaths crafted by local businesses, organizations, and civic groups. Attendees will have the chance to take home these holiday centerpieces through a raffle and silent auction. Proceeds will support the Junior League’s community outreach and service programs.

Organizers say the event blends holiday cheer with meaningful community impact by supporting local makers and raising funds for local initiatives. Those looking to get involved can sponsor a tree or wreath, donate an item, or purchase tickets at FestivalofTreesCU.com.

Tickets are available online in advance or at the door. Admission is free for children ages 4 and under, $3 for youth ages 5–17, and $5 for adults.
