BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (Chambana Today) — The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a bobblehead that will be familiar to many Illinois State alums.

ISU’s updated mascot, Reggie Redbird, will have an officially licensed, limited-edition bobblehead. The school’s mascot, which had a new look unveiled earlier this month, was released to celebrate the school’s new year and College Colors Day, a national celebration observed on the Friday before Labor Day.

The refreshed Reggie Redbird will make his official debut at the first home football game of the 2025 season against Morehead State on Saturday, September 6 at Hancock Stadium. The bobblehead is being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of Illinois State University.
