PET OF THE WEEK: Meet Iker, who spent half the interview on Duane’s back

We love it when cats are snuggly, and Iker is no exception. Photo: Saga Communications

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — This morning, Alison from CATsNAP brought Iker to the studios to meet Duane. Iker is an eight-month-old kitten (who has a sister if you want two!). He can see perfectly, but his eyes are extra moist from former infections – they are all healed! He is very cuddly, and as soon as we started talking to Alison, Iker just hopped on Duane’s back. Check-out the video on 100.3 WIXY’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/18fuiqQu8k/. We love it when cats are snuggly, and Iker is no exception.

CATsNAP has an open house coming up this weekend – Saturday from 12-3 at 1713 S. State Street in Champaign. RSVP requested here. They are also holding a Totes ‘n Shirts Fundraiser through May May 4th, and every purchase helps support CatSNAP and provides food, litter, medicine, and more for our cats! There are some awesome shirts and tote bags for sale at: https://campusink.printavo.com/…/62142-catsnap-online…

There are a lot of veterinarian choices in east-central Illinois, but we love our Pet of the Week sponsor, Curtis Road Animal Hospital. The staff is amazing and the vets treat your pet like they would their own. Fill out this simple form to request an appointment: Curtis Road Animal Hospital – Request an Appointment.
