Thunder on the Ridge roars back to Ridge Farm August 15–16

RIDGE FARM, IL (Chambana Today) – Mark your calendars for one of the summer’s loudest and most exciting events—Thunder on the Ridge, happening August 15th and 16th at Ward Park in Ridge Farm. This Tractor and Truck Pull brings together hometown pride and family-friendly entertainment.

The two-night event kicks off Friday the 15th at 6 p.m. with local barnyard and antique tractor pulls, including 12 classes ranging from 4,500 to 14,000 pounds, plus Old School IPA. Then on Saturday night, the Lowry Sled returns at 6 p.m. for eight sanctioned IPA classes, featuring Outlaw and N/A tractors, Pro Farm, Field Stock, 4×4 trucks, and Mini Rods.

Tickets are available at the gate:

  • $25 entry fee per class for participants
  • $10 gate admission for spectators
  • Kids 8 and under get in free
