CHAMPAIGN-URBANA (Chambana Today) — Two distinctive homes in the Champaign-Urbana market are offering buyers a mix of location, character, and modern amenities, according to local real estate agent Hayley Siefert: Broker at the Siefert Team at Keller Williams Realty, TREC.

In a recent interview, Siefert highlighted a property at 302 West Florida Avenue in Urbana, located just steps from Memorial Stadium and the State Farm Center near the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

“It was built in 1940, so it has the old charming character, but it has modern updates, which is really nice,” Siefert said.

The five-bedroom, three-bathroom home features updated kitchen finishes, including quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances, along with a finished basement that adds additional living space. “One part I love about this home is the finished basement,” she said. “So that’s actually where you’re going to find the fifth bedroom. But I love it — I’m a fan of basements.”

Listed at $359,900, Siefert emphasized the value and location of the home. “For $359,900…that’s a good price for a five-bedroom home,” she said.

Siefert also pointed to a newly built home at 2842 East Stone Creek Boulevard, located just across from Atkins Golf Club.

“This is a stunning newly built home,” she said. The five-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom property features vaulted ceilings, an open-concept layout, and a fully finished basement — a feature she noted is less common in that area.

The home also includes a spacious kitchen, walk-in pantry, and a primary suite with a soaking tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity.

Siefert said both homes offer buyers more than just square footage — they offer lifestyle opportunities tied to their surroundings. “If you’re an Illini fan, you could be right in the heart of it. If you’re a golf fanatic, you could be right in the heart of it,” she said.

More information on both properties can be obtained by contacting the Siefert Team through their official website or on their Facebook page.
