Two-day Mahomet Music Festival set to bring life to Downtown Mahomet

MAHOMET, Ill. (Chambana Today) — The Mahomet Music Festival is set to bring two days of activities and performances to Downtown Mahomet this weekend.

The annual free event will be held at 503 East Main Street in Mahomet and looks to bring family-friendly fun to the community each year.

Contestants from nationally acclaimed audition programs and acoustic performances will take to the stage.

The event, which has been running for over 30 years, looks to bring a family friendly festival to the people of Mahomet and surrounding communities, and takes place on the last Friday and Saturday of August each year. The event draws attendees from as far away as Wisconsin, Missouri, and Indiana, with roughly 25,000 throughout the weekend.
